Before our wedding we went on this website filling out music for our wedding, a week before we had a phone call going over the music, talking about ourselves and feeling each others vibes. I was worried because my husband and I have awkward families so I thought no one would dance. Jimn told us we can trust him and he’ll make it happen. Jimn answered any questions we had. Day of our wedding Jimn played all of our favorite music plus more. Right before our grand entrance he came and checked in with my wedding party making sure everyone’s names were right and hyped us up!! Our grand entrance was super fun and definitely hyped everyone up! Jimn definitely felt out the vibe of our guests and knew exactly what to play. Once Jimn realized how much I loved Justin Bieber he made sure to play a lot more which I loved lol!! He chatted with us a few times and was great to talk to. “We initially went with Sound Originals out of cost consideration and ease of booking because their combined photo/video package seemed so much more cost effective than many of the quotes we were getting from individual photographers and videographers. We assumed therefore that the quality might be a bit diminished by comparison, but were quite pleasantly surprised to discover that this was not the case! We are beyond pleased with the coverage they provided of our wedding and reception, and would certainly recommend Sound Originals to anyone seeking photo/video of their big day. Our team on the day of the wedding were absolute rock stars. Kate, Trung, and Travis all were incredibly friendly and helpful, and went above and beyond in ensuring we had excellent photos and video--both candids and plandids. We're so grateful to each of them for their excellent work! If you're considering booking Sound Originals, there is one practical consideration we might offer, however: Their business model seems streamlined to provide a standardized product and level of quality to many clients at once by contracting with local photographers and videographers--this is great for ensuring that clients know what to expect visually and that the company has backup photographers ready in case any members of the assigned team can't make it, but this also seems to come at the cost of personal touch when communicating with the company and the photo/video team. Our communications with them were always through a portal on their website and often felt rather impersonal. This was a trade off we were perfectly fine with, given the very affordable price we paid for our package and the piece of mind in knowing that even if our lead photographer got sick or something, someone else would be there to fill in. If you, however, require a high level of customization or personal touch and want to cultivate a close relationship with your photographer, then you may want to hire a photographer/team directly.”

Dan and his team were so easy to work with, and their 5-piece DJ band was the perfect, fun switch-up from a traditional band for our June wedding at Greenpoint Loft. We also had a ceremony guitarist and a saxophonist with tracks for the cocktail hour, which added great touches to the day. The uplights they brought for the room were priced very well and created a beautiful atmosphere. The music planning worksheet they provided was incredibly helpful, and they offered valuable advice on the timeline and flow of the reception, which was a huge help. They were fun to work with, and on the night of the wedding, they absolutely crushed it. The music was fantastic, they kept the vibes high, and their crowd engagement was excellent. “When my wife and I were planning our wedding, we were initially hesitant to book Once Like a Spark Wedding Co. since they were not a local company, and we didn't get to talk directly to the photographer or videographer until the day of the wedding. That being said, what sold us was their website/gallery, their professionalism when getting a quote, and that our venue vouched for them. OLAS' team's communication was responsive, quick, and thorough, putting us at ease. We had planning calls and surveys leading up the day of. Jasmine T did a stellar job setting us up to look our best, and she had her work cut out for her, because she was dealing with two brides, two dresses, and an outfit change! Jasmine was also great about following our instructions from the survey and planning meetings. For example, we had included pictures in front of a wall of donuts at the venue, but we later changed the wall of donuts to cannoli's and forgot to tell OLAS. Turns out the venue threw in the donut wall back in without telling us. Jasmine brought us to the wall, and it made for a great surprise and cute pictures. Jeremy did an amazing job on the videography and editing. Watching the highlight video made us cry because he really captured our best moments and those real smiles in the midst of the stress and hustle and bustle of the wedding day. OLAS gave us complimentary rush photos and video without us asking which was a 2-3 week was turn around. Despite our initial trepidation, we are so happy we booked OLAS. They went above and beyond to make our special day memorable for a lifetime. We are so grateful for their talent and highly recommend Once Like a Spark Wedding Co. to any couple looking for breathtaking photography and videography.”

“Just rent the flowers y’all - after getting multiple thousands of dollars in quotes from florists for our tiny dinner party wedding I started to look for other options. SSB had great reviews, in person or zoom consultations and a VERY helpful FB group that helped me pull the trigger even being pretty skeptical that the quality wouldn’t be there. Fast forward to the day I unboxed them and I was floored, some of the petals even FEEL REAL. Don’t know how they do it. Shipping was easy, fast and return labels were in sticker form to just pop back on. Our guests had no idea they weren’t real, especially with our low light reception it was impossible to tell. It was a breezed - we spent about 450 for 9 large centerpieces, bouquet and a few boutonnières for the guys from the Marlowe collection rather than the 2-3k quite well we’re getting from florists here in Atlanta that at the end of the day aren’t sustainable and would have looked the same (at best). Just rent the flowers y’all.”

“Our experience working with Jamie and Ceremony DJs can be best summed up by the fact that multiple people told us after the ceremony they wanted to book him for their wedding and at least one got his business card! I can't imagine a better DJ, truly. When we first met with Jamie, he said he could make people dance to anything and would keep people on the dance floor all night, and he WAS NOT LYING. The whole night, the dance floor was PACKED even though it was rainy/muddy/cold/wet. Jamie took us on a journey that covered all of the bases of the music we love to hear and dance to, seamlessly and magically (?) integrating genres with the best mixes, it was pure wizardry and really captured who we were. We as a couple care a lot about music and wanted music that represented who we were and what we like to listen to, and he did not disappoint! So much prep work went into this, he took patience and time to try to understand our tastes and vibe, and it was so cool to have the wedding played on vinyl- basically, Jamie just "got it" from start to finish and we had the best time! Our wedding also got delayed due to rain and a road closure and he was such a good sport, staying late to keep us all dancing for a whole other hour- so fun! Also, when our ceremony musician was stuck in traffic due to the storm, he was so prepared and had our prelude/processional music downloaded so we could still walk down the aisle to the songs we'd chosen. Overall, such a cool, kind, funny guy who was professional and prepared in every way and honest just takes time to meet and know his clients, and clearly just loves to share his love of music. I would book him for everything if I could. BOOK THIS DJ. You will NOT regret it!”
